Seminar on robotics, 3d modeling and 3d printing
According to the plan of the State Institution "Department of Education in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk" on May 17, 2023, a seminar on robotics, 3d modeling and 3d printing was held for teachers of schools in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk on the basis of the State Enterprise "Station of Young Technicians".
The purpose of the seminar: to provide methodological assistance to teachers involved in scientific design with students in robotics.
During the seminar, teachers got acquainted with the XOD block programming platform, the SketchUp 3d modeling program, learned what types of 3d printers exist and how they differ, what plastics are and what kind of work they are suitable for. The teachers also got acquainted with the processes of calibration, plastic replacement and the main problems that are encountered when working on a 3d printer.
