City seminar on the topic "Effective methods and techniques for the development of communicative competence of students in English lessons"

According to the work plan of the department of education in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk for April 2023, a city seminar for English teachers on the topic "Effective methods and techniques for the development of communicative competencies of students in English lessons”. The seminar was attended by young teachers with work experience up to 5 years. At the seminar, a methodologist in language disciplines Kruglova E.P. spoke, who noted that the formation of the communicative competence of students in English lessons is based on the work of the following activities: speaking, reading, writing and listening. Particular attention is paid to the formation of lexical skills that contribute to the formation and expansion of vocabulary. The seminar was attended by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, teacher-researcher Mukhametrahimova R.Zh., English teacher Myrzabolkyzy Ayauly - teacher-expert, Kalieva Ayaulym Walbekovna - teacher-expert, Musinova Aigul Magauinkyzy, teacher-researcher.
In their speeches, teachers noted that improving the quality of education, increasing the availability of education, ensuring the harmonious development of a person who is oriented in the information space depends on the communicative competence of students formed in the classroom, which is due to the social order of modern society.
