Excursion to the local history museum

On September 18, a group of young geologists of the KGKP "Stations of Young Technicians" of the NGO in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk of the UO East Kazakhstan region visited the local history museum of the Bystrushenskaya school. The museum is headed by a teacher of history and local historian - Shirkov Viktor Pavlovich.
Kruzhkovites got acquainted with stone tools of the Paleolithic and Neolithic eras, saw the skull of a cave bear, tusks of a bison and a mammoth.
In the valley of the Bystrukha River, the guys found stone tools made of siliceous siltstone and fossils.
We thank Viktor Pavlovich and the school administration for an exciting and informative tour.
