On participation in the Republican championship in fire and rescue sports among young men in Shymkent

In the period from 11 to 16 July, the city of Shymkent hosted the XII Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in fire and rescue sports among young men. 17 teams of young rescuers from all regions of the country showed their skills in rescue work. The EKO team was represented by 10 students of Ust-Kamenogorsk city schools No. 7,9,12,17,19,26,30. All of them have been involved in the fire and rescue sports section for a number of years under the guidance of an experienced coach, teacher of additional education of the School of Secondary Education No. 29 Mikhail Filatov.
During the competition, the teams had to go through 4 most difficult stages: climbing the assault ladder, 100-meter obstacle course, fire relay, combat deployment. From the first starts, our guys showed their skills and took 1st place at the stages of attack and 100 meters. At the subsequent stages, our athletes took 3rd and 2nd places. Thus, according to the sum of points, young rescuers from Ust-Kamenogorsk took the second team place. In addition, Arkady Serov and Viktor Korshak took 2nd place in the individual standings in climbing the assault ladder.

Fire and rescue sport is a sport of the strong and friendly. After all, nowhere, as in the performance of dangerous rescue operations, is the shoulder of a comrade important. The guys involved in the section of the Center "Young Rescuer" basically prepare themselves for the noble profession of a rescuer and experienced coaches and teachers help them in this.
