Section meetings of specialists of the City Forum of Parents "Safe Childhood"

The Department of Education on the basis of KSU "Secondary School No. 17" held the Parents' Forum "Safe Childhood", timed to coincide with the year of children in Kazakhstan. During the Forum of Parents, topical issues relating to the public, parents and children were considered.
During the Forum, an exhibition of booklets for parents and minors on topical issues of children's safety and rights was organized, and leaflets with recommendations were distributed at the end of the event.
Specialists of the socio-psychological service of the Schoolchildren's Creativity Palace, together with school teachers, held breakout sessions. During the meetings, the following problems were discussed: Internet security (D.A. Rezvan), bullying and cyberbullying (G.E. Bekkalieva), prevention of sexual integrity (E.B. Gutova, G.A. Nurkhatova), family relationships (social teachers Orumbasarova N.B., Malonukha A.P.), problems of bullying (Akhtanova Zh.Zh., Antipina I.N., Chechulina A.S.), mental health (Toktamys D.T., Chelnokova A.A. ).
More than 80 parents took part in the work of the section. They participated in practical exercises, shared their experience on the topics covered. Parents noted the relevance of the Forum, the content, the availability of the information received at the breakout sessions.
Cooperation between families and schools is becoming more and more relevant and in demand. Joint meetings, consultations, exchange of experience, search for answers to complex issues of education - this is what our parents should be interested in. I wish there were more parents like this. After all, the school vitally needs their support, just as parents need the help of the school.
