City Educational Forum for Parents "Safe Childhood"

The family and well-being of children are identified as the most important priorities of the state national policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On May 20, 2022, the Education Department for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk of the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan region held a city educational Forum for parents of schoolchildren in the city “Safe Childhood”, dedicated to the Year of Children in Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the event is to attract the attention of the city's public to improving the quality of life of children by creating conditions conducive to physical, intellectual, spiritual, moral development, ensuring the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children.
The Forum was attended by 350 parents of city school students, as well as representatives of social and law enforcement agencies, public organizations.
During the planar part of the Forum, speeches were heard on topical issues of child protection and the creation of the necessary conditions for the well-being of underage citizens of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk:
In a speech by the head of the education department to the parents, S.B. Alaguzova touched upon the protection of children's rights, the conditions created in educational organizations for barrier-free access to education for all categories of children and adolescents. Data on the conditions for children with special life needs from various social groups were announced.
Orazayeva G.D., head of the mobile group for public safety under the akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, head of the inclusion department of the Department of Education of the East Kazakhstan region, spoke with the question “On the organization of the work of the mobile group for public safety in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk”.Speeches were heard on issues of preventive measures among minors: “Prevention of crimes among minors” (MB Bayandinov, deputy head of the police department of Ust-Kamenogorsk, police colonel); “Problem issues of child and adolescent narcology” (Kiskina G.T., head of the narcology department of the East Kazakhstan Regional Health Center for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk).
At the end of the plenary part, parents were offered effective methods of interacting with children, overcoming conflict situations of relationships in the family: “Problems of children and parents through the prism of the socio-psychological service” (Kuzemko L.P., Deputy Director for the profile of the socio-psychological service of the Palace of Creativity schoolchildren).
In educational organizations, the acting Boards of Trustees and Parental Committees play a special role in the cultivation of family and moral and spiritual values, the realization of the rights of the child to be raised in a prosperous family. The best, active parents were noted at the Forum.
In the second part of the Forum, parents were invited to participate in practical exercises on the following topical issues: "Safety in the field of mental health", "Talk about the important", "Cyber ​​and Internet security", "Safe relationships in the family", "Safety at school ".
