On congratulations to veterans and home front workers of the Great Patriotic War

As part of the approaching Victory Day, teachers and "Young Rescuers" of the "Young Rescuer" Center of KSU "ShTsDO No. 29" could not ignore especially veterans and home front workers. "Young Rescuers" of KSU "ShTsDO No. 29" together with the employees of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region organized a social subbotnik for Zoya Alexandrovna Larionova, a worker in the home front of the Great Patriotic War.
A subbotnik was organized on the adjacent territory of the house. Zoya Alexandrovna met the activists and determined the scope of work for them. Armed with secateurs, brooms and rakes, the helpers removed leaves and dry grass, trimmed trees and shrubs, cleaned the house and dug up the garden. Rescuers of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region installed a carbon monoxide detector in the home of a home front worker for safety reasons.
As a result of the fruitful joint work of rescuers and children, the task was completed.
After an organized subbotnik, the rescuers treated Zoya Alexandrovna to soldiers' porridge, which was cooked in a field kitchen in order to bring the Victory Day closer to the realities of the war years.
Zoya Alexandrovna Larionova told the Young Rescuers about the difficult years of the war. Until now, without tears, he does not remember. They lived in a village not far from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. When the war began, childhood ended immediately. Her father went to the front, and she, along with her mother and two older sisters, began working on a collective farm. She was only 9 years old. They worked for the front, collecting everything that they had grown in the fields. They themselves lived in poverty, cold and hunger, on a subsidiary farm. When the war ended, Larionova Zoya was sent by the collective farm to the courses of tractor drivers in the school of mechanization in Ust-Kamenogorsk.Zoya Aleksandrovna remained in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The last place of work was the fire department, and here she spent 29 working years. Recalling the years of work, Zoya Alexandrovna told that the fire department was poor, the team often changed, since the salaries were small. In addition to her main job as a dispatcher, she was a cashier, conducted trade union affairs, and the women's council.
She expressed gratitude to the employees of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region and the pupils of the center "Young Spasel" for their care and congratulations. “These events instill in adolescents a sense of patriotism, social responsibility, caring attitude towards the elderly,” emphasized the employees of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region.
Fortunately, today there is still an opportunity to say thanks to those few who are living witnesses of human grief.

“We believe that such people should be helped constantly, and not only on significant dates,” said Daniil Pishchalnikov, a student of School of Education No 29.
