Development of practical skills of students in the subjects of the natural science cycle

In accordance with the plan of the Department of Education of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, OO EKO on March 29, 2022, a city workshop was held for teachers of natural science disciplines of city schools on the topic “Development of practical skills of students in subjects of the natural science cycle”. More than 30 teachers of geography, chemistry, biology of the Kazakh schools of the city took part. The purpose of the workshop: to acquaint teachers of Kazakh schools with the system of work of teachers of natural science disciplines of secondary school No. 49 to develop students' practical skills in geography, chemistry, biology and share their experience. In her speech, the methodologist of the city department of education Kapchikova N.T. noted the relevance and importance of developing the practical skills of students in teaching subjects of the natural science cycle.
Deputy director for academic work of secondary school No. 49 Smagulova A.A. said that when studying natural science disciplines at school, teachers worked with students in the classroom and after school hours, during intra-school circles, subject weeks.
Kairkanova A. B. in her practice dwelled on the ways and methods of developing the practical skills of students in the performance of laboratory work, the importance of conducting intra-school circle work. N. T. Okataeva dwelled on effective ways of using the possibilities of ICT during the lesson, developing the practical skills of students. Makenova Zh. Zh. spoke about the effective use of ICT capabilities and the means of the biology classroom in biology lessons.Also, in the hydroponics classroom, organized by the head of the school, they said that during the work on hydroponics (growing green onions) and aeroponics (growing strawberries), students perform practical tasks with great interest and transfer their products for consumption to the school canteen.
The teachers participating in the workshop expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the organizer of the city education department, teachers who shared their experience.
