"National Costume Day"

On March 17, 2022, a day is held at KSU "School-gymnasium No. 12" on the topic "Tarikhka tagzym kүni" ("History Day".)
Kazakh national clothes are the subject of the material culture of the Kazakhs.
Kazakh national clothes are sewn according to ancient traditions, taking into account ethnic, economic and climatic conditions.
By purpose, national clothes are divided into underwear, outerwear, rainwear, everyday, solemn and traditional. Clothes for celebrations, occasions were sewn from expensive fabrics.
Wearable clothing includes: dress, trousers, vests, women's kazakin; outerwear includes: chapan, buy (clothing lined with camel, sheep wool or skins), sleeveless jackets, ichik, sheepskin coats, fur coats; rainwear includes: chekmen (homespun caftan), kaptal (worn over a coat in winter), kebenek, kenep (clothing made of felt, such as a cloak), raincoat.
As part of the celebration of the national holiday Nauryz, our school hosted the "Day of the National Costume".
The guys got acquainted with various attributes of national clothes, learned about their purpose. After that, a photo session was held with the participation of students of the school of different ages.
