The city stage of the Olympiad in general subjects was held

From February 14 to February 22, 2022, schoolchildren from schools in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk took part in the second stage of the Republican Olympiad in general subjects. The Olympiad has become a traditional event for talented and gifted schoolchildren from all over the country.

This year, the intellectual competition was held for the first time in an electronic format in order to ensure the transparency of the Olympiad.

The city stage of the Olympiad was held through the Oqylyq platform using the proctoring system. Participants were given logins and passwords to access tasks on the platform, as well as answer forms. In addition, the process of holding the Olympiad was provided by a video surveillance system for online viewing.

The second stage of the Olympiad was attended by 1520 gifted schoolchildren of grades 9-11 in 15 subjects of the natural-mathematical and social-humanitarian areas. The Olympiad was held on the basis of secondary schools No. 19 and 36.

To control the academic honesty of the Olympiad, representatives of the project office "Adaldyq alańy", the parent committee and the media were present on the ground.

According to the results of the city stage of the Republican Olympiad, 381 winners will be invited to participate in the regional stage of the Republican Olympiad.
