Formation of functional literacy in the lessons of mathematics, physics and computer science through the technology of critical thinking

According to the work plan of the education department of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region, on February 23, 2022, a city seminar for teachers of the city was held on the topic "Formation of functional literacy in the lessons of mathematics, physics and computer science through the technology of critical thinking". More than 50 teachers of mathematics, physics and computer science from schools with the state language of instruction took part. The purpose of the seminar: to acquaint the teachers of the city with the system of work of teachers of mathematics, physics and computer science of school No. 49 on the use of critical thinking technology as a means of improving the functional literacy of schoolchildren.
In her speech, the head of the MMC Nurpeisova A.Z. noted the relevance of the development of mathematical, natural science and information literacy.
Deputy Director for SD Smagulova A.A. delivered theoretical information about the technology of critical thinking. Mathematics teachers Kalibaeva S.M. on the topic "Ways to improve the mathematical literacy of students through the use of critical thinking technology in the classroom", Zhomartova A.M. "Development of information competence of schoolchildren by means of computer technologies in informatics", Rakhymzhanova A.D. "Effective use of critical thinking technology in physics lessons in order to develop students' natural-science literacy."
Teachers were offered various forms and methods of conducting a lesson, providing feedback to students, and using educational platforms.
The teachers present expressed their unanimous opinion on the seminar, its relevance and importance of using critical thinking technology to develop the functional literacy of schoolchildren.
