In KSU "Evening School No. 3" of the Department of Education in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the EKO, within the framework of the subject week of geography, events were held dedicated to the protection of the environment of animals and plants. The head of the department of science, environmental monitoring of information of the Katon-Karagay State National Natural Park Gabdulina Aliya Ulanbekovna was invited and spoke about the snow leopard. Without leaving the territory of the school, students of the evening school No. 3 traveled around the Katon-Karagai State National Natural Park. The trip was very memorable and interesting. We got acquainted with the largest representative of the cat family in our country, a beautiful, majestic animal - the snow leopard. Most of the population of Kazakhstan, unfortunately, do not know about the existence of the snow leopard and the reasons for its disappearance. We hope that holding such events will help preserve and increase the bio-formations of our national park, as well as instill in the inhabitants of our region a sense of responsibility and respect for their origins, for their small homeland.
