The annual lesson of courage was held

On February 9, an annual lesson of courage was held for 8th grade students, dedicated to the memory of the graduate of school No. 5, E.A. Ivanov, who died in Afghanistan. Soldiers-internationalists Frolov Oleg Genadevich and Dolgov Alexander were invited to the lesson.
Our meeting is a tribute to all those involved in the heroic and tragic wars of the 20th century. The event was held on the birthday of our countryman who died in Afghanistan during the fighting, Evgeny Ivanov.
The war in Afghanistan lasted 9 years and 10 months. On February 15, 1989, the war ended, which lasted twice as long as the Great Patriotic War.
On February 9, our countryman, the Afghan soldier Yevgeny Ivanov, would have turned 57 years old.
If his fate had turned out differently, then maybe his children or grandchildren would have been among us, but…
Battles end, and history is eternal. The Afghan war has also gone down in history. But she still has a long time to live in human memory, because her story is written with the blood of soldiers and the tears of mothers.

The generation scorched by its fire, like no one else, learned the military and moral lessons of that undeclared, heroic and tragic Afghan war.

We hope that the guys will not forget this meeting with the internationalist warriors.

All their lives, with all their deeds and thoughts, they will try to make sure that this never happens again. They will not forget that each of them has fulfilled his duty to the end and is worthy of our memory.
