1.1. This regulation defines the goals and objectives, organizational support, the procedure for conducting and financing, participation and determination of winners and prize–winners of the regional competition for the development of guides of excursion routes of educational orientation "Tourist trail of knowledge" (hereinafter - the Competition).
1.2. Organizational and methodological support of the competition is provided by the Department of Education in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
1.3. Purpose and objectives of the Contest:
The competition is held with the aim of popularizing educational tourism among children and youth and forming their travel needs.
The main objectives of the competition are:
promoting the development of regional internal educational children's tourism;
creating the image of the districts as an attractive cultural, educational and tourist object through the popularization of its historical, cultural and natural attractions;
updating existing and creating new thematic excursion routes of educational orientation.
The result of the Competition will be regional directories, which will include new sightseeing facilities and educational routes for students.
