THE NUMBER OF CATTLE HAS INCREASED IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

In the Turkestan region for 8 months of this year, the volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 405.6 billion tenge. Including crop production -170.2 billion tenge, animal husbandry-230.8 billion tenge. In all categories of farms in the region, a total of 144.1 thousand tons of meat (in live weight), 556.5 thousand tons of milk, 158.3 million pieces of eggs were produced. The number of cattle in all categories of farms in the region increased by 3.3% and amounted to 1.15 million heads, sheep and goats -5.1 million heads, horses - 385.2 thousand heads, camels-37.9 thousand heads or 110.2%.

Since the beginning of the year, 407.7 billion tenge of industrial products have been produced in the region. These are the main indicators of socio-economic development for January-August 2021. The volume of production in the mining industry, which amounted to 44.2% of the volume of industrial production of the region, amounted to 180 billion tenge. The index of the physical volume of manufacturing industry products amounted (share 46.0%) - 99.6%, or 187.7 billion tenge.

In electricity supply, gas supply, steam and air conditioning for 34.9 billion tenge, or the physical volume index was -118.1%. In the sphere of "water supply, sewerage system, control over the collection and distribution of waste", 5.1 billion tenge of products were produced, which amounted to 110.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2020. Among the most important, the indicators of such products as flour increased by 9.8% (139.5 thousand tons), bed linen – by 1.5 times (11.5 thousand pieces), heat capacity – by 29.8% (283.9 thousand tons).
