TURKESTAN: THE WINNER OF THE COMPETITION AMONG THE READERS OF THE KURAN WILL RECEIVE A CAR

From October 12 to 13, for the first time in Turkestan, with the support of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, the X Republican contest "Kuran karimdi zhatka zhane manerlep okudan" - "Expressive reading of the Koran and knowledge by heart" will be held. The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the regional center will be held at a high level this year.

The participants will not only compete in the reading of the Quran, but also make a pilgrimage to the mausoleum, where the tombs of historical figures of the Kazakhs are located. According to the chief imam of Turkestan region Yerkebulan kazhy Karakulov, the winner of the Grand Prix of the competition will receive a new foreign car, cash prizes in the amount of 500 thousand tenge and 3 million tenge will also be awarded.

It should be noted that 4 candidates from each region will take part in the competition. The applicants themselves participating in the event had previously passed a special selection, 4 of them were recognized as worthy to participate. The chairman of the Duma, the Supreme Mufti of Nauryzbai kazhy Taganuly, will preside at the republican competitions among the readers of the Kuran.
