TEACHER'S DAY WAS CELEBRATED IN TURKESTAN REGION

On the eve of the teachers' professional holiday, a solemn meeting was held at the Turkestan Schoolchildren's Palace. Deputy akim of Turkestan region Saken Kalkamanov congratulated teachers on the holiday and shared with them the planned good deeds in the field of education.

" A teacher is a holy person and a special profession. After all, everyone: great scientists, poets, cosmonauts, akims, ministers were taught the first basics by teachers. The amount of state support for teachers is increasing every year. Now teachers face big challenges. Mastering a new educational program, improving the quality of education using advanced modern experience, bringing students to the international level, forming a Kazakhstani person from the point of view of creative thinking. In this regard, teachers face the main task - continuous professional development," the deputy akim of the region said.

It is also necessary to create local councils of veteran teachers, author's schools of a new model that meet modern requirements. In addition, within the framework of the “Nur Otan” party program "The Path of Change: a decent life for every citizen!" by 2025, in order to solve the problems of emergency and three-shift schools in the region, it is planned to build 130 schools in stages. This is the largest indicator in the country.

In the Turkestan region, the problem of emergency and three-shift schools will be completely solved in 2021-2023. This year, 78 schools are being built (70 schools from the regional budget, 8 schools under the project "Auyl-el besigi"). In addition, the Nazarbayev Intellectual School for 720 places with a dormitory for 120 places is being built in the city of Turkestan. There are 6 emergency and 4 three-shift schools in the region, of which 2 emergency and 1 three-shift schools will be solved this year.

Currently, 47 schools are planned to be built. Of these, 44 schools - at the expense of the budget, 3 - at the expense of private investment. On September 1, 15 out of 44 schools were commissioned, the rest are expected to be commissioned by the end of the year.Also this year, 13 private schools were opened at the expense of private investors (Turkestan - 4, Zhetysay district - 1, Maktaaral district - 2, Keles district - 1, Sauran district - 1, Sairam district - 1, Saryagash district - 2, Kentau - 1,), which began their work in the 2021-2022 academic year.

Along with this, within the framework of the election program of the “Nur Otan” party, it is planned to modernize 108 schools included in the project "Modernization of 5000 schools". Today, the best teachers of the region and veteran teachers have been specially invited to receive awards and prizes from the akim of the region.

One of the great achievements in the field of education of the Turkestan region, for the first time in the republic for the final eradication of corruption was automated by 100% through portals jumis.smartnation.kz, for hiring teachers, employees, heads of institutions and the queue for kindergarten, issuing a referral through balabaqsha.smartnation.kz and enrollment in school, transparency for the population is provided.

In the Turkestan region in the 2020-2021 academic year, about 28 thousand students graduated from secondary schools in grades 11. About 2 thousand graduates became holders of the "Altyn Belgi" badge, 1369 graduates became holders of certificates with honors of a special sample. In the 2020-2021 academic year, our students return with a victory from international and republican educational competitions. The Corporate foundation "Elbasy Academy" was awarded the bronze medal of the first stream 81, the bronze medal of the second stream 188 students.

At the solemn event on Teacher's Day, veterans and honored workers in the field of education were awarded the medal "Enbek ardageri", badges "Y. Altynsarin" and "Honorary employee of the field of education".

120 teachers of the region took part in the festive event. Of these, 23 teachers are veterans, and 40 teachers have won awards. It should be noted that at the solemn meeting, the deputy akim of the region awarded the nomination "Best Teacher of the Year" to 10 teachers, the medal "Veteran of Labor" of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to 1 teacher, the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan " Y. Altynsarin " to 7 teachers. At the end of the solemn event, the quartet "Zhigitter" performed the song "Ustazym" at a festive concert in honor of the teachers.
