ROWERS OF TURKESTAN REGION WON 21 GOLD MEDALS

The championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in kayaking and canoeing has ended on the Pervomaisky Pond of the Almaty region. The competition was attended by young people born in 2003-2004 and young men born in 2005-2006. 148 athletes from 12 regions of the country took part in the competition.

In the competitions of rowers, which were held in a stubborn struggle, the Turkestan region achieved high results. The athletes won 21 gold, 10 silver, 14 bronze medals at the Embassy championship, and in the team competition they took the highest step of the victory podium. The East Kazakhstan region, which won 9 gold medals, took second place, and the athletes of Zhezkazgan won 8 gold medals and summed up the results of the three.

The national team of the Turkestan region in kayaking and canoeing has successfully completed the competitive season of 2021. And the winners were athletes of the Turkestan regional specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic Reserve in water sports. During the season they won 45 prizes.
