Today, the issue of rational use of underground water in the city of Kentau has been resolved. For many years, groundwater has been rising in the single-industry city, which is why the territories of some districts were lowered and ice holes were formed. This can lead to a catastrophic situation and in order to prevent this threat, it was decided to use water rationally and reduce the groundwater level.
A project for the construction of an underground water drainage system has been launched in Kentau. The attracted water is drained into the "Koskorgan" reservoir. The Turkestan region will receive an additional 70 million m3 of wastewater. To monitor the implementation of the unique project, akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev met with project managers in the city of Kentau.
The building, which used to go down into the mine, is supposed to be carried out around the city, installing several drains and pouring concrete into a ditch located in the miners ' park. If the project is implemented, transparent clean water will flow down the streets of Kentau, as well as along the Vesnovka River in Almaty. Then Kentau will retain its green appearance and create a comfortable environment for residents.
During the working trip, the governor of the region also got acquainted with the construction of a bypass road between the city of Kentau and the Turkestan International Airport. An important path will be fully completed next year. Work is underway to lay the stone on the road with a length of 24 kilometers. After the completion of the long-awaited construction, transport links will be established and residents ' access to settlements will be improved.
In parallel with the road, work is underway on the installation of the pipeline, the reconstruction of the bridge, and the replacement of the infrastructure route.
It is worth noting that in Kentau, in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State and the Elbasy, new infrastructure projects are being implemented designed to improve the quality of services and the speed of transit to create a competitive transport infrastructure. The head of the region instructed to plant seedlings along an important road and improve it.
