TURKESTAN: THE NIGHT LIGHTS OF THE MAUSOLEUM OF H. A. YASSAWI SHONE

 

The lighting project on the territory of the mausoleum of H. A. Yassawi has been completed.

1200 meters of electrical wiring and 229 colored lamps were used to illuminate the historical monument. When implementing a unique project, it was necessary to preserve and not spoil every detail of this ancient monument. Akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev took part in the solemn event dedicated to the presentation of the architectural illumination of the mausoleum of H. A. Yassawi.

"The historical Decree of Elbasy, the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev, opened a new breath to Turkestan. The updated Turkestan is already in a different status, and we have witnessed one of these good initiatives in the regional center of the southern edge of the country. To highlight the historical monument, the practice was used in world places of pilgrimage , such as Mecca Madine, Hagia Sophia Mosque in Istanbul and Registan in Samarkand. And we declare the autumn tourist season open and we want to invite all the guests of the Turkic-speaking countries and not only. Thanks to the continuous development of the tourism sector, we intend to ensure the influx of tourists and the number of visitors in 2025 to more than 2 and a half million people, " U. Shukeyev said.

The project of lighting the mausoleum was carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the expert opinion of the RSE "Kazkaitazhanartu", taking into account the recommendations of archaeologists. According to the technical director of the project, Bagila Isakova, before starting the project, the specialists conducted research and analytical work in the world's famous historical museums, such as the Yassawi mausoleum.

"We worked under the supervision of competent institutions, with a special expert opinion. The lamps were installed around the mausoleum, on the roof with the help of high-quality installations. During the work, not a single brick was damaged. Because the light was connected using an optional installation. LED lamps with DMX control, " said the project manager.

According to experts, when changing the optics and light characteristics, various elements of epigraphy are visible, that is, calligraphic inscriptions on the walls of the mausoleum. It is this amazing view of the mausoleum that will become the main feature of lighting.

At the gala evening, in the Botanical Garden near the historical mausoleum, the orchestra of Kazakh folk instruments named after "Sugir" of the regional philharmonic named after Sh.Kaldayakov, as well as artists of the Astana Ballet theater and famous singers performed.
