IT HAS BECOME POSSIBLE TO USE A DIGITAL IDENTITY CARD AT THE TURKESTAN AIRPORT

At the Turkestan International Airport, it is now possible to use a digital identity card using the "e-gov mobile"application. To use this service, citizens must first register in the "e-gov mobile" system. It is enough to scan the QR code of the identity card stored in the digital documents data service in the same application using a special device located at the airport reception. A special device will determine your personal data and at the same time register you in the database.
Such an opportunity in the country is currently provided only at the airports of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Aktobe, Shymkent and Turkestan.
"Since this is still being implemented as a pilot project, citizens need to have the original identity card with them. After the new system is successfully tested, it is expected that the project will be implemented in other cities of the country," said Elnur Utebayev, head of the Department of Digitalization, Public Services and Archives of the Turkestan region.
