TURKESTAN: ELDERLY FANS OF THE MAKTAARAL FOOTBALL CLUB

Akim of the Maktaaral district Bakhyt Asanov on the eve of October 1 – the International Day of the Elderly gave about 50 elderly people the opportunity to travel around the city of Turkestan. The old-timers began their cultural tour with sacred places and a pilgrimage to the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi. The honored guests, having familiarized themselves with historical places, read the Koran, paying tribute and reverence to the khans and biys, the spirits of their batyr ancestors.
In addition, the elders visited one of the most picturesque sights of the city-the tourist site Keruen Sarai. The guests did not hide their surprise, seeing that the spiritual capital had been transformed so much in a short time. Then the guests watched an interesting game between the football clubs "Maktaaral" and "Kyran", which was held at the Turkestan Arena stadium, where they became fans of the team of their native land. They also wished both teams, who drew 1-1, good luck in the upcoming games.
In the new regional center, the Maktaaral guests were able to relax and gain spiritual strength. They thanked the organizers for an interesting trip to the holy city.
