TURKESTAN: WINTER FEED STOCKS IN ORDABASY DISTRICT ARE READY
The peasants of the Ordabasy district of the Turkestan region will not be satisfied with feed in the coming winter. Akimat of Ordabasy district signed a memorandum on bilateral cooperation with the Farmers ' Union. As you know, this year the drought has intensified on the territory of the region due to precipitation falling less than in the year. As a result, there was a shortage of feed.
To increase feed stocks and provide large enterprises of the district with feed for livestock and poultry, memoranda were signed on behalf of the heads of enterprises and peasants of the district. On the basis of this document, the farm "Zhaksylyk", located in the Badam rural district, sells corn crops on an area of 200 hectares and alfalfa on an area of 100 hectares to the dairy farm "Borte-Milka" .
This farm as a whole provides seasonal employment for 25 rural residents. Also, 32 units of modern agricultural machinery are involved in the development of sown areas (4 units were purchased this year).
Currently, about 300 thousand tons of feed have been collected in the Ordabasinsky district. Work in this direction will continue. Thus, in winter, large enterprises and farms will not experience a shortage of feed.
