TURKESTAN REGION RANKS 1ST IN TERMS OF VACCINATION RATES

85.8% of the population of the region subject to vaccination has been vaccinated. According to the statistics of vaccination against coronavirus, the Turkestan region is the leader in the country. The first component of the vaccination was taken by about 814 thousand people. The second component was received by about 633 thousand people. The epidemiological situation in the region is stable. In the republic, the lowest indicator in terms of the number of patients registered daily is in the Turkestan region. This is stated during a staff meeting chaired by the akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev.

Today, residents of the region will be able to take the Russian-made Sputnik V vaccine, domestic-made QazVac, HayatVax from Sinopharm, CoronaVac from China and Vero Cell from Sinopharm. There are 141 vaccination centers in the region.

The Turkestan region is located in the"green zone". The number of infectious diseases beds in medical institutions will begin to decrease. As of September 13, 37 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the region. The daily increase is 0.27 %. In total, there are now more than 2 thousand places in infectious diseases hospitals. 668 people are being treated here.

In general, 13,546 cases of CVI were detected during the pandemic period. In more than 7 thousand cases, the disease was asymptomatic. Also, 1,002,142 PCR samples have been obtained to date. Over the past day, 1,500 people have been examined in the laboratories.
