UMIRZAK SHUKEYEV MET WITH INVESTORS FROM TURKEY

Mayor of Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev met with the heads of the international investment group "Dogus Group". The head of the region noted that, as President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan, special attention is paid to improving the quality of education, developing agriculture and creating new production areas at a high level of the processing industry. The parties discussed projects related to the development of infrastructure and chemical industries. Umirzak Shukeyev focused on large-scale projects being implemented in the Turkestan region.

"The Turkestan region is a very convenient investment platform for the implementation of new projects. We have investors who produce feed, dairy, and meat companies. We can offer you one of these directions. You can also build a greenhouse. As for the land issue, we cannot provide land to foreigners. As for infrastructure projects, we have a positive approach to the construction of railways and bridges. We are happy to support such projects, " Umirzak Shukeyev said.

In turn, Turkish investors highly appreciated the economic development of the Turkestan region and the regional center and expressed interest in a number of projects. They intend to take part in the development of the food belt in Turkestan.
