PARALYMPIANS FROM TURKESTAN PERFORMED IN THE FINAL IN TOKYO

At the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Kazakhstani athletes are achieving great success, which was not previously in our sports history. So far, the national team of Kazakhstan has 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals in the piggy bank.

These days, grandiose competitions are held in Tokyo, in which Paralympians from five continents take part. Such games are held every four years, they started on August 27 and will end on September 5.

Turkestan athlete Beybarys Spatay performed at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. All conditions were created for the athlete at home so that he could train at a high level. With the support of the akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev, B. Spatay previously participated in a number of training camps abroad.

Our countryman passed the selection in Tokyo with dignity and reached the final among the best athletes. He finished 9th, competing in the KL2-200 m races. This is a good result for a young athlete.
