TURKESTAN: DELIVERED TO ZHAMBYL REGION HUMANITARIAN AID

10 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered from Maktaaral district of Turkestan region to Baizak district of Zhambyl region. Residents of the villages of Orgebas, Ferdausi, affected by the flood, as well as local entrepreneurs took an active part in the assistance. A truck with food was delivered to the Bayzak district and placed in a central warehouse organized by the local akimat.

"Last year, when there was a flood in the Maktaaral district, the first thing that came was help from the Zhambyl region. In addition, the whole country, the public constantly sent their help to our area. Therefore, for us, what happened in the Bayzak district of the Zhambyl region, we are very concerned about the fate of our compatriots who were left without housing, and we were one of the first to bring humanitarian aid here,"said the director of the KSU "Youth Resource Center" Sundet Kenzhebayev.

"Baizak district, we are together!" - under this motto, humanitarian aid will be distributed to the population affected by the emergency situation. Local responsible leaders received a report on the assistance provided and thanked the Maktaaral residents who extended a helping hand in a difficult moment. The caravan of good prepared for the affected countrymen was loaded with rice, butter, pasta, sugar, buckwheat, light food products, sweets and mineral drinks.
