33 WAGONS OF HAY WERE SENT FROM THE TURKESTAN REGION TO FARMERS IN THE WESTERN REGIONS OF THE COUNTRY

This year, the drought has had a negative impact not only in the western regions, but also in the Turkestan region. In particular, the peasants of the Keles and Saryagash districts faced this problem. Nevertheless, today the situation in the region is stable. In some areas, 100% of the required amount of feed has already been collected.

Caring residents and volunteers of the Turkestan region with the support of the regional akimat provided assistance to the peasants of the Mangystau region.

Mayor of the region Umirzak Shukeyev has been monitoring the issues of free logistics of feed to the western regions since the first days.

With the support of JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", 23 hay wagons have already been delivered to the Mangystau region.

In addition, 10 more wagons of hay were sent from the Saryagash railway station today. Currently, local volunteers and farmers with the support of the Akimat of the Turkestan region and JSC "National Company" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy " are working to send an additional 40 wagons of hay to Mangystau and other regions in need of feed.

Moreover, the akimat of the region and JSC "National Company" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy " is ready to provide 100 wagons for the transportation of harvested feed, if necessary.

It is worth emphasizing that in accordance with the instructions of the head of the region Umirzak Shukeyev, the agricultural formations of the region were provided with pastures and hayfields from the lands of the forest fund. For 6 months of the current year, 545 agroformations were provided with 563 thousand hectares of pastures, 23 agroformations were provided with 1.5 thousand hectares of hayfields.

At the same time, we note that the information distributed in social networks regarding the fact that the administration of the city of Arys of the Turkestan region opposes sending hay to the western regions of the country does not correspond to reality.
