A MINI-FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT IN MEMORY OF DOCTORS WHO DIED FROM COVID-19 WAS HELD IN ZHETYSAY DISTRICT

Competitions dedicated to the memory of medical workers who died in the fight against coronavirus were held at the Central Stadium named after K. Munaytpasov. 16 teams from the cities of Almaty, Shymkent, Saryagash, Shardara and Zhetysai districts took part in the tournament.

Since the first days of the pandemic, doctors have been on the front line of the struggle to save the lives of fellow citizens. The country will always remember the heroic feat of people in white coats. Among them are Zhurkabayeva Sholpan Torebekkyzy, general practitioner of Zhetysai district Central Hospital, obstetrician-gynecologist Rudolf Yan, driver of the city polyclinic Tekeev Tattibay Tastanuly, head of the district emergency department Kurbanov Suleyman Nazhimedenuly, duty doctor Kuzbagarov Bazarbay Khairullauly, duty dispatcher of the emergency department of Usenbayev Kulaim Kaldybaykyzy.

The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by Deputy akim of the Zhetysai district Serik Primbekov, First Deputy Chairman of the Zhetysai district branch of the Nur Otan party Adilkhan Asauov, chief imam of the district Zhorabay Dulatbayev, chairman of the district Council of Veterans Aitbay Makhambetov, head of the district department of physical culture and sports Yerkebulan Seidaliyev and director of the children's and youth sports school №1 Gabit Zhanayev, as well as veteran athlete Bakhyt Zhanbyrbayev, head of the KSU "Zhastar resurstyk ortalygy" Nurlybek Mutayev and doctors of the district hospital.
