"EL TIREGI-ELBASY": TWO THOUSAND FAMILIES SUPPORTED IN TURKESTAN REGION IN JUNE
Social security during a pandemic is the main task of the state. It is necessary to guarantee a high level of social protection, work hard and increase the social responsibility of officials and businessmen.
The President emphasized that by joint efforts we will be able to strengthen the systemic nature of social responsibility and social partnership. This will help to implement strategic programs and projects, as well as solve urgent problems in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In support of the Head of State, on March 17 of this year, the Charity Foundation "Halyk" launched the campaign "El tiregi – Elbasy". It provides for the issuance of food packages to low-income families who have children with disabilities. The kits contain the most necessary things: flour, pasta, vegetable oil, stew, rice, tea and sweets - 50 kilograms of food for each family.
In March, the Charity Foundation "Halyk" helped two thousand low-income and large families of the Turkestan region. These people found themselves in a difficult financial situation due to the state of emergency and quarantine measures.
The second action of the Charity Fund "Halyk" was held in June. Within its framework, the social protection authorities of the population issued food baskets to two thousand more families of the Turkestan region raising children with disabilities. These families are among the recipients of targeted social assistance.
We call on all concerned citizens and business structures of the Republic of Kazakhstan to support the large-scale charity event "El tiregi-Elbasy".
The action "El tiregi-Elbasy" has become a real example of unity, participation and kindness of our compatriots. More and more businessmen, companies and caring Kazakhstanis are joining it.
It should be noted that the initiative of the Charity Foundation "Halyk" was supported by the volunteer movement of the country. As part of the "Year of the Volunteer" announced by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, volunteers helped with the targeted delivery of food packages.
