The head of the Bureau of National Statistics, Nurbolat Aidapkelov, got acquainted with the preparations for the National Census of 2021 in the Turkestan region. First, he visited the Zhetysai district bordering with Uzbekistan. There are 4 instructor sections working here. After visiting one of them, Nurbolat Aidapkelov talked with the census staff of the first stage. The head of the Bureau also visited Maktaaral, Keles and Saryagash districts.
"Only the correct conduct of census zoning will ensure the completeness of the population registration during the census," Aidapkelov stressed.
As part of the preparatory stage, the lists of residential buildings (apartments) and non-residential premises used as housing are being clarified. This is necessary for the optimal division of territories into instructor and counting areas and an even distribution of the population in accordance with the norms of the load on the census staff.
It should be noted that today 50 instructor sites have been created in the Turkestan region. Employment contracts have been concluded with instructors for the preparation and conduct of national censuses. We have also concluded contracts for the provision of paid services with instructors-supervisors and with interviewers. The entire staff of 522 people was trained with practical classes and followed by testing on the basis of the Department of Statistics.
Currently, the entire census staff is already fully provided with premises, computers, furniture. The computers are connected to the Unified Transport Environment of state agencies (ETS GO). Each employee is provided with personal protective equipment. The issue of free travel in urban vehicles has been resolved. A district police inspector is assigned to each instructor's station.
According to preliminary data, interviewers in the Turkestan region are required to bypass 370,423 residential and non-residential premises where the population may live.
Recall that the main stage of the National Census of 2021 will be held in the period from September 1 to October 30. It will be possible to take part in it both online and in the traditional way. The motto of the census of 2021 is " Kazakhstanda arkim manyzdy! In Kazakhstan, everyone is important!".
