In order to develop the industrial potential of the Turkestan region, it is planned to implement several major projects. One of them is the construction of the “Sastobe” chemical complex. The uniqueness of this project is that there is no similar plant in Kazakhstan today. At an off-site briefing organized by the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akim of the region Umirzak Shukeyev shared a Comprehensive plan for the development of the Turkestan region at a special site of the “Farab” library in Turkestan.

The new plant, which is expected to be completed next year, will create 650 jobs. Currently, construction and installation work is underway.
Along with this, a coal-chemical plant was launched in the test mode.
