UMIRZAK SHUKEYEV: 40 THOUSAND NEW JOBS WILL BE CREATED

"The first stage of work on the formation of Turkestan as a cultural and spiritual center of the Turkic world has been completed. As the second stage, a new Comprehensive Plan of the Turkestan Region for 2021-2025 was approved. The project includes 145 events, " akim of the region Umirzak Shukeyev said at an off-site press conference of the Central Communications Service in Turkestan.

According to the governor of the region, the main social infrastructure of Turkestan has been laid. In total, 257 new facilities worth 445.3 billion tenge were built, including a new international airport, administrative-business and spiritual-cultural centers, B. Sattarkhanov avenue was reconstructed, free economic and industrial zones were created, the city of Turkestan was fully gasified, a "green belt" was formed around the city on 13 thousand hectares, 3.5 million trees were planted.

3.6 trillion tenge will be allocated for the implementation of 145 measures approved in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. Of these, 2.7 trillion tenge is private investment. As part of the Comprehensive Plan, an oil refinery, a chemical complex, a factory for the production of household appliances will be built in the next 5 years, and it is also planned to create a food belt around the city of Turkestan.

As a result of the implementation of the new Comprehensive plan in 2025, the volume of GRP will reach 3.7 trillion tenge, 40 thousand new jobs will be created, which in turn will improve the quality of life and well-being of the population as a whole.

Also, within the framework of the Comprehensive Plan, roads will be built: "South-Western bypass of Shymkent", "Saryagash Bypass", "Eastern bypass of Turkestan" and the high-speed railway "Turkestan-Shymkent-Tashkent".
