TURKESTAN REGION TURNED 3 YEARS OLD

Turkestan region has turned 3 years old. Governor of the region Umirzak Shukeyev congratulated the Turkestanis and at a press conference organized by the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkestan, elaborated on the work done over three years. A press conference on the topic "Socio-economic development of the Turkestan region in the framework of the instructions of the Elbasy" was held at the special site of the library "Farab" in the regional center. The head of the region spoke about the socio-economic development of the region, answering questions from journalists.

According to him, the positive growth of the main socio-economic indicators of the region was noted.

"This year is significant for all Kazakhstanis - 30 years of our great Independence. Today, another historical moment has come for us - exactly 3 years since the formation of the Turkestan region. On June 19, 2018, in accordance with the Decree of the First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Turkestan Region was established. This remarkable event gave the region a new impetus and new opportunities for comprehensive development. Turkestan became the capital of the Turkic world, the ancient city gained a new status by the Decree of the Head of State. A comprehensive plan for the socio-economic development of the Turkestan region for 2021-2025 has been approved, and tasks for the next 5 years have been defined. Despite the crisis caused by the pandemic, the dynamics of the most important socio-economic indicators of the region's development is positive. The Head of state has set tasks to restore high rates of economic development, attract investment and increase the income of the population, " mayor of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev said, speaking to the media.
