BY THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE - 30 MILLION TREES

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country's Independence, an initiative to plant 30 million tree seedlings was launched in Turkestan region on the initiative of the mayor of the region Umirzak Shukeyev. In this regard, 30 thousand trees are being planted in the Baidibek district.

Labor veterans, representatives of public organizations, volunteers and rural youth of the Baidibek district, taking shovels in their hands, fenced off the access road of the village on both sides with a special fence and planted about 2000 thousand trees.

According to scientific estimates, 1 hectare of forest annually cleanses 18 million cubic meters of air. The same forest absorbs and decomposes 11 tons of toxic carbon dioxide in one day.
