TURKESTAN: TOMATOES RIPEN IN KELES
Farmers of the Turkestan region are preparing to collect the first products. The farm "Kenzhebay Ata", located on the territory of the Koshkaratinsky rural district of the Keles district, sowed tomatoes on an area of 1 hectare. In general, 25 thousand tomato seedlings were sown on the sown areas, more than 10 people work in the care of the crops. According to the farm workers, the time of full ripeness of the products falls on the middle of April. It is planned to ship ripe products to regional markets and other cities of the country.
Farmers plan to collect up to 10 kg of tomatoes. Top-grade tomatoes produce a plentiful harvest. Farmers intend to collect at least 60 tons of products from each hectare.
In addition, as part of the peasant farm, there is a feedlot. About 100 breeds of “Angus” and “Akbas” cattle are bred here. Last year, having started cattle breeding, 54 breeding animals of the first batch were exported from the north. They were cared for, fed and brought to the domestic market in the form of meat, bringing huge profits.
Thus, this year farmers intend to increase the number of livestock, and the meat direction is planned to bring to the markets of our country. In this direction, 2 people are provided with work.
