WELLNESS CENTER WITH MINERAL WATER WILL BE BUILT IN ORDABASY DISTRICT

Mayor of Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev visited a number of objects of Ordabasy district during his working trip. The head of the region began his visit with the village of Shubarsu. Umirzak Estayevich got acquainted with the work of a private polyclinic. The medical facility employs 125 specialists for 250 visits per shift. There are 51 healthcare facilities in the district. The governor of the region also got acquainted with the new projects of Ordabasy district. For example, the old building of the outpatient clinic in the village of Bogen is planned to be converted into a rehabilitation and wellness center for the effective use of underground mineral waters. Natural resources will be used for medicinal purposes. The total area of the two-storey building is 14 thousand sq. m.

The akim of the Turkestan region was also introduced to the current state of the general secondary school named after B. Nurlybekov. The educational institution, which has been operating since 2004, needs major repairs. Now there are more than 2 thousand children studying here. In total, there are 65 schools in Ordabasy district. To date, 6 schools are being built here at the expense of the regional budget.

At the same time, the head of the region visited the greenhouse, whose products are exported. Tomatoes and cucumbers that grow here on two hectares are supplied to the markets of the region and other regions. It is worth noting that the total area of greenhouses in Ordabasy district is 87 hectares, of which 21 hectares are industrial greenhouses.

Last year, a greenhouse site was created in the village of Shubarsu on 15 hectares, which was distributed among the citizens who applied. This year, this area is planned to be increased by another 20 hectares. Last year, about 10 thousand tons of vegetables and fruits grew in these greenhouses.

Akim of the district Nurbol Turashbekov presented the Boraldai reservoir project to the head of the region. To increase the area of irrigated land, to solve the problem of irrigation water in the Ordabasy district, systematic work is being carried out. Today, there are 87 channels in the area with a total length of more than 800 km. Of these, 215 km were mechanically cleaned last year. As a result, irrigation of cultivated areas has improved. Work in this direction will continue this year.
