FOREIGN JOURNALISTS CELEBRATED NAURYZ IN TURKESTAN

The press tour was held from March 20 to 22. Journalists from Hungary, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Bashkortostan were introduced to the picturesque nature, rich history and vibrant culture of the region, the past and modern Turkestan. This is necessary to increase the tourist opportunities of the region.

Within three days, the guests visited the Otyrar and Kazygurt regions, including the Arystan Bab mausoleum, the Keme Kalgan monument, and the Botanical Garden. They visited the mausoleum of H. A. Yassawi and the cave of Akmeshit. The foreign guests also visited the new multifunctional complex "Caravan Saray" and other tourist sites in the city of Turkestan.

On Nauryz, journalists from the turkic countries were presented with national games and treated to dishes of the kazakh cuisine.

The day before, employees of the leading media participated in the International Media Forum "Investment and Tourism Opportunities of Turkestan". As part of this event, a roadshow "TURKISTAN MEDIA FORUM: INVESTMENT AND TOURISM OPPORTUNITIES"was organized.

It is worth noting that foreign journalists were delighted with the press tour. The guests were very pleased that the holy city of Turkestan has turned into a modern one, while preserving its ancient appearance.
