SAURANS THANK ELBASY
Speaking on behalf of more than 100 thousand residents of the Sauran district of the Turkestan region, the residents of the new district thanked the Elbasy for the historic moment. Having happily received the news about the creation of the district on the eve of Nuryz, they shared their opinion about the decision of the Leader of the Nation and the Head of State. A solemn event dedicated to the creation of a new district was held in the district center - in the village of Shornak.
Saurans expressed their gratitude to Elbasy, who created the region by his Decree, and now Turkestan is rightfully becoming the cultural and spiritual center of the Turkic world. Residents are also grateful to the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who continues the work of the First President and makes efforts for the development of Turkestan.
"We have been waiting for this day for several years. On behalf of the residents, we thank the First President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the Head of State for this historic decision, which made us all happy. I believe that the assignment of the name of the medieval city of Sauran to the new district, whose history is intertwined with Turkestan, located along the Great Silk Road, is a special event that has become a landmark on the eve of Nauryz," said Salybek Alzhanov, a veteran of labor.
On June 19, 2018, the First President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed a decree on the establishment of the Turkestan region. The strategic decision made gave a great impetus to the revival of Turkestan, the spiritual capital of the entire Turkic people. The thousand-year history of Sauran is also inextricably linked with this city. Thus, Sauran, which was once the capital of Ak Orda, has regained its historical status.
"In continuation of the path started by Nursultan Nazarbayev to turn the ancient city into a regional center, a plan for the development of the city of Kentau, adjacent to Turkestan, as a satellite city was approved. The expansion of the city's borders, the doubling of the population, all contributed to the creation of a new district. On behalf of our residents, we express our gratitude to the Leader of the Nation and the Head of State for this decision," said Kairat Balabiyev, Secretary of the Turkestan Regional Maslikhat.
Recall that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree on the creation of a new Sauran district in the Turkestan region. The administrative center of Sauran district will be the village of Shornak. From the city Kentau withdrawn rural district Shaga, Zhana ikan, Eski Ikan, Ushkaiyk, Yassy, Orangai, Karashyk, Zhuinek, Babaikorgan, Shornak, Zhibek Zholy, Maydantal.
"On behalf of the youth of the district of Sauran, I say thank you Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev and President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, who initiated the creation of the new district," said the teacher secondary school in the village of Shornak, Erdaulet Buharbaev.
It is worth noting that the district maslikhat will first be created to form the administrative structure. Further, in agreement with the maslikhat, the district akim will be appointed, the management system and the budget will be approved. Along with this, the district offices of law enforcement agencies and ministries will start working.
