GAS NETWORKS TO BE MASSIVELY CHECKED IN TURKESTAN REGION

The order of installation of gas appliances in each house in the territory of the district and the city is massively checked. The safety requirements for the use of natural gas in everyday life must be fully observed. This order was given by the mayor of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev at a weekly meeting. The head of the region obliged those responsible for the mistakes made in the installation of gas stoves to take action.

"Starting today, I also tell all the akims to check all the places where the gas entered. Urgently. Every yard needs to be searched and inspected. If necessary, it is necessary to punish the institution that installed this gas, " the mayor of the region said.

At the meeting, under the chairmanship of the head of the region, control was entrusted over the complete inspection of residential buildings connected to the centralized gas system, and the prevention of accidents. Violated requirements can be disconnected from natural gas. The report on this issue was made by the head of the Emergency Department of the region Nurgali Zhunusov. According to him, since the beginning of the heating season, during the campaign work, more than 45 thousand violations of fire safety have been identified and put in order.

"A special group is conducting explanatory work to prevent the use of fireplace stoves, as well as fixing pipes coming out of the roof. Unfortunately, most of the residents, after we left, do their thing again and violate the security rules. There is also evidence, facts that are revealed during a second visit. From the side of the sphere of emergency situations, there are no requirements for bringing to administrative responsibility for the use of these fireplace stoves or suspending them, " the head of the department said.

In total, more than 376 thousand individual residential buildings were registered in the region. Of these, more than 204 thousand use natural gas. In addition, there are about 1.5 thousand multi-storey residential buildings in the region.
