Young policemen of the Ordabasy district police department visited the Kazhymukan Museum and the memorial of Glory in the village of Temirlan. The police officers got acquainted with each exhibit and received extensive information about historical figures.
According to the museum staff, in 1726, the all-kazakh kurultai was held in the Ordabasy area to the west of the city of Shymkent in order to organize a centralized repulse to the dzungars. Representatives of the Kazakh zhuzes, gathered at the foot of mount Ordabasy, decided to organize a nationwide struggle against the enemy. This is a very important event that raised the spirit of the people and allowed the liberation of the region to begin.
After reviewing the historical events, the police expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event. Similar actions carried out in order to educate young professionals will continue in the future.
