THE IV PLENUM OF THE TURKESTAN REGIONAL COUNCIL OF VETERANS WAS HELD

At the IV Plenum of the Turkestan regional council of veterans, the presentation of the book "Uly Zhenistin 75 zhyldygy" was held. The book, published with the support of the regional administration, details the latest data on the veterans of the region. In accordance with the sanitary requirements, the work of the Plenum was conducted online by the chairman of the regional Council of Veterans Zhenisbek Maulenkulov.
The meeting was attended by deputy akim of the region Saken Kalkamanov, first deputy chairman of the Turkestan regional branch of the Nur Otan party Beisen Tazhibayev, chairman of the regional Public Council Sharipbek Zhamalbek, heads of departments. About 250 people, including representatives of district, city and primary veterans' organizations, chairmen of the boards of "Ajeler", representatives of the intelligentsia, heads of youth resource centers of districts and cities, were connected via video communication from districts and cities.
"The more we want the next generation to respect Independence, the more we need to be able to explain its values. Of course, this will be implemented with your help. I call on all of you to take part in important events within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence and make your contribution," deputy akim of the region Saken Kalkamanov said.
Recall that last year, on behalf of the head of the region, in order to preserve public harmony, prevent interethnic conflicts and offenses, a special working group was created, which included deputies of the regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, heads of law enforcement and relevant departments, employees of district and city akimats and local self-government bodies. Despite the pandemic, in accordance with the quarantine requirements, the working group held many meetings online. Activities in this direction will continue this year.
"I believe that the main task of our generation is to educate and guide young people, preventing religious conflicts in the country. Today, the religious situation in the country, including in the region, is stable. However, in this flow of information, young people can easily get lost. In addition, many people have lost their loved ones due to the pandemic. During the funeral, we observed a large crowd of people and extravagance during the wake. I consider it necessary to continue to work together with the regional Council of Veterans, representatives of the intelligentsia and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan to conduct explanatory work on the ground for an effective settlement of this issue," said Zhenisbek Maulenkulov, chairman of the regional Council of Veterans.
It is worth noting that there are 750 mosques and branches of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan in the Turkestan region. This is 3/1 of the mosques in the republic. The elders of the region plan to take appropriate measures through the "Schools of Fathers" established under the "Council of Veterans", in order to prevent various deviations in the behavior of young people, to preserve national traditions. At the IV plenum of the regional Council of Veterans, the work done by this organization in 2020 and the implementation of the main activities planned for 2021 were also announced. At the same time, the members of the Council made presentations and shared their views.
