The area of pastures used by the population will increase by 742 thousand hectares, or 21%. A draft step-by-step algorithm has been developed in five directions for the return of pasture lands in the territory of the Turkestan region. According to the algorithm developed by the regional department of land relations on behalf of the akim of the region, first of all, plots for the needs of the population are identified near 152 settlements with a shortage of pastures. This was stated at the staff meeting chaired by the head of the region Umirzak Shukeyev.
According to the head of the regional department of land Relations Samat Ramazanov, according to the approved plan, this year in the first half of the year it is planned to withdraw 66.4 thousand hectares into state ownership, in the second half of the year - 63.2 thousand hectares, in total about 130 thousand hectares of pasture land for the needs of the population. Currently, the area of the seized plots is being specified. As a result of these works, the area of pastures used by the population will increase by 742 thousand hectares or 21% by the end of the year.
Pastures will be transferred under the direct responsibility of the akims of rural districts by including land within the boundaries of settlements. Land necessary for other needs of the population is provided with the consent of local public control organizations. Work in this direction is under constant control until the population is fully covered by pastures.
At the same time, the heads of the responsible departments reported on the progress of the work done on landscaping the territory of the city of Turkestan. Recall, in order to green the regional center, the city was divided into 32 sectors. In each sector, it is planned to plant about 10 thousand saplings of trees, install a water supply system, pumps and drill wells.
