The governor of the region was asked about the prospects of creating a new TV channel in Turkestan "According to the idea of Elbasy, Turkestan is turning into a spiritual and cultural center of the Turkic world. Many media outlets are starting to work in the regional center. With this in mind, the Turkistan TV channel is being created, which will be based in the Media Center. A lot has been done for journalists here, including technical support. A lot of work is being done and there is an idea that the channel will go international. In the near future, a single TV channel will be created, which will start broadcasting in the languages of the Turkic - speaking countries," the head of the region said.

Recall that at the reporting meeting with the population, the head of the region spoke in detail about the work done in 2020. He noted that there were 26% fewer appeals and complaints. During the reporting period, more than 63 thousand such applications were received. Moreover, 703.3 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the Turkestan region. The number of operating small and medium-sized businesses has reached 141 thousand. The volume of construction works amounted to 300 billion tenge, the volume of agricultural products-729.7 billion tenge.

It should be noted that this year more than 17 billion tenge will be spent on the construction of educational facilities. In addition, the city will host a Summit of the Heads of Turkic-speaking states in March, and a new Sauran district will appear in the region by Nauryz.
