ABOUT 3 THOUSAND DOCTORS HAVE IMPROVED THEIR SKILLS IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

In the Turkestan region, 2,616 medical workers have improved their professional level. In particular, they were trained in 33 specialties, 7 resuscitators, 9 infectious diseases and 2 courses of cardiology. In total, the region has 5,300 doctors and about 18,600 nurses.
Last year, about 1,300 specialists were trained in the treatment of COVID-19 infection in the Turkestan region. The medical workers also exchanged their experience online with specialists from China and Russia, organized by the Ministry of Health.
In addition, 44 specialists of the region have been trained at the North-Western State Medical University named after I. I. Mechnekov. In general, we have established partnerships for continuing education with Russian higher education institutions in the cities of St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk.
Currently, 728 medical workers of various fields are trained in the regional children's hospital in special training centers. As you know, the main goal is to train specialists for doctors who know the latest technologies and treat patients.
