1110 medical workers were vaccinated in the Turkestan region from February 1 to 15. It is worth noting that the level of coronavirus infection in the region is decreasing. To date, it is only 0.14%. Over the past day, six people have fallen ill.
Recall that since the beginning of the pandemic, 4215 cases have been registered in the region. 2704 were symptomless, and 1672 were treated in hospital. Vaccination of the population against coronavirus infection began on February 1, 2021. As of February 11, about 14 thousand people in Kazakhstan received vaccinations. At the same time, no side effects were reported after immunization.
However, reactions such as redness, pain at the injection site, increased body temperature, and a short-term increase in blood pressure may occur. This lasts from a few hours to several days.
You need to be vaccinated against coronavirus in two stages with an interval of 21 days. The first dose has a short-term protective effect due to the production of a small amount of antibodies. The second dose enhances the effect of the first, increasing the amount of antibodies in the human body. Please note that there is a risk of infection between the first and second doses of the vaccine. Therefore, during vaccination, doctors must wear masks, treat their hands and maintain a social distance.
"Data from clinical studies have confirmed that immunity after vaccination is protected from one to two years. At the same time, it was found that antibodies after recovery from CVI persist for an average of six months. Therefore, we can say that the antibodies that protect the body from KVI after vaccination, persist longer," said epidemiologist, expert Scientific and practical center for sanitary and epidemiological forensics and monitoring NCOS MOH Lena Kasabekova.
