ALTYNSARIN REGIONAL CHILDREN'S LIBRARY CELEBRATED ITS 60TH ANNIVERSARY

This year, the Ybyrai Altynsarin regional children's Library celebrates its 60th anniversary. The 60th anniversary of the Turkestan Regional Children's library named after Ybyrai Altynsarin, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was celebrated in Ordabasy district.
Deputy akim of the District Azat Oralbayev and Secretary of the district maslikhat Kasymbay Abdykalyk took part in the opening of the week on the theme" Bala rukhaniyatynyn altyn besigi " and expressed their best wishes to the book lovers. During the event, the works of the outstanding Kazakh educator-teacher Ybyrai Altynsarin were presented.
This year, the calendar of anniversaries of the country includes the 180th anniversary of the first Kazakh educator Y. Altynsarin. Zoya Begezhanova, director of the Regional Children's library named after Ybyrai Altynsarin, spoke about the importance and significance of the caravan of spirituality, which lasted from century to Century. And the artists of the District House of Culture spoke Kazakh scholars and passed on their knowledge to the current generation. The literary montage was dedicated to the works of Ybyrai Altynsarin. Young artists of the District Youth Theater "Zhas tolkyn" also showed their talents and brought joy to the audience.
The Turkestan regional children's library named after Y. Altynsarin was founded in 1961. In 1976, the library was named after the great Kazakh scientist, folklorist, teacher-educator Ybyrai Altynsarin. The library is an educational, information and communication center that effectively uses free time.
Every year, the library serves more than 27 thousand readers and provides them with about 500 thousand different types of literature and documents. Readers of the library: preschoolers, students of grades 1-9 and leaders of children's reading (parents, teachers, teachers). Today, the library's book collection exceeds 250 thousand. These are the world's best literature for children, modern children's fiction (domestic and foreign), industry-specific and reference literature that helps the educational process, periodicals, audio and video materials, and electronic publications.
