KENTAU PRODUCED AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS WORTH 73 BILLION TENGE

Enterprises of the city of Kentau produced agricultural products in the amount of 72.9 billion tenge, which is 106.3% more than in the same period last year. Most of them are in crop production and animal husbandry. More than 12 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the fixed capital of agriculture. In addition, in 2021, "Turkestan Agro XXI" LLP plans to build a dairy farm for 1,200 heads. To date, a contract has been signed for the implementation of the technology of the Italian company "Rota Guido".

Also, the company "SPK-SAURAN" plans to build a feedlot for 10 thousand heads of cattle. The project cost is 7.5 billion tenge. The volume of investments in the fixed capital of food production was made by 190% and amounted to 285 million tenge.

At the same time, the number of cattle exceeded 100 thousand heads, the number of small cattle reached 500 thousand heads. The number of horses was about 18 thousand heads, camels-3 thousand heads. At the end of the year, the number of poultry increased by 14% and reached 200 thousand. 17 thousand tons of meat, 65 thousand tons of milk and about 100 thousand eggs were produced.

At the same time, 460 hectares were planted with agricultural crops. The total area of the greenhouses put into operation was more than 17 hectares. 90 feedlots are open. Moreover, winter wheat is sown on about 5 thousand hectares. To date, 127 units of equipment have been upgraded in Kentau, and the task in this direction has been completed by 100%.
