30 PASSENGERS EVACUATED IN TURKESTAN REGION

On the territory of Turkestan region, roads of regional significance are blocked due to sharp weather changes, heavy snow and wind in a number of mountainous areas of the cities of Kazygurt, Tolebi, Baidibek and Kentau.
According to the Department of passenger transport and highways of Turkestan region, 25 special equipment and 30 employees of the state enterprise "Ontustik zholdary" on the right of economic management of the department and subcontractors carried out continuous snow removal of the road.
In particular, the Kh-56 of regional significance, which connects Kentau and Suzak district, Zhambyl region, Kumkent – Sholakkorgan – Kentau highway, temporarily suspended traffic at the ashchysai pass. 10 special equipment and 20 employees of the state enterprise "Ontustik zholdary" and the subcontractor " Ildas " LLP carried out work on cleaning the road from snow without interruption in these regions. As a result, during the 3-day snow removal, 16 passenger cars were rescued from the snowdrift, and 21 passengers who were stuck on the road were evacuated.
Due to the location of the village of Ashchysai in the mountain zone of kentau, there are cases of road closures, snow-covered roads that have been cleared by special equipment. Currently, work is underway to clear the KH-56 highway of regional significance from snow. One side of the two-lane road has been completely cleared of snow, and traffic is organized in one lane.
