THERE ARE 379 FEEDLOTS IN ORDABASINSKY DISTRICT

Local farmers are skillfully used the program "Sybaga", "Altyn asyk" and "Kulan". Last year, under the "Sybaga" program, they bought 665 head of cattle when ordering 479 heads. The plan was completed by 139%.

 

According to the program "Altyn Asyk" intended to purchase 2144 heads of cattle, in fact, twice as much was purchased. This allowed us to fulfill the plan by 190%. Under the "Kulan" program, 289 horses were purchased instead of the planned 277, and the plan was fulfilled by 104%.

 

To date, there are 379 feedlots in the district. Last year, another 100 feedlots were opened. This made it possible to produce about 7 thousand tons of live meat, which are sold in the markets of the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.

There are also 110 dairy farms in the area. The volume of milk from 1,650 cows is 4,355 tons. Last year, it was planned to open 22 dairy farms, but in fact opened 26, fulfilling the plan by 124%. And instead of the planned three, five poultry farms were put into operation.

 

This year, Ordabasinsky district will pay special attention to the development of animal husbandry and poultry farming. Memoranda of cooperation have already been signed between large enterprises of the district and local farms to provide raw materials for the production of feed. Work in this direction will continue.
